It is powered by twin diesel engines with 500-600 horsepower. The Interceptor 28 is capable of 25-28kts when fully loaded, and an operational speed of 25kts, fully loaded. It has a total seating capacity of 22 persons including a 6 crew in the main cabin, a helmsman, a navigator, and radio communications operative.
It has a sea toilet, a sink, and a large electrical compartment as well as an engine room. The accommodation is air-conditioned.
